Interior Design alum, Holly Beingessner, shares her academic and entrepreneurial journey from conceptualizing the product to realizing an idea she researched as part of her final thesis project: an environmentally friendly backpack that offers a stylish solution to transporting temperature-sensitive medication. Her product will address the current lack of options and provide a solution to a critical need.

Ryerson Innovation Student Experience (RISE) is an eight-week incubator program that enables students to sharpen entrepreneurial skills while developing a business in the creative industries. At the end of the eight-week program, the teams had the opportunity to pitch for dinner with the Dean plus special guests. Holly is honoured to have been chosen as the winner and receive such encouraging and helpful feedback from the judge panellists of industry professionals.
